The report 'Dead Weight' is a 6 page report on the need for a new option to be available in Australia for human body disposition.... it discusses the problem (a fossil-fueled finale), the environmental costs of traditional/current methods of disposition, what Human Composting is and how it is done, the existing market/industry, the cost of grief, and has 7 recommendations. It calls for Government (at all levels) to show leadership and take action, as there is no rational reason why our commitment to sustainability should end at death. We need a new option, one that can be a choice for those that care about giving back to the planet at the end of life, in a dignified way.
